Marketing Manager, APAC (Japan Based)

We provide a leading translation management system (Memsource) and software localization platform (Phrase), supporting 500+ languages, 50+ file types and covering the full range of enterprise localization use cases. With a global team working from our offices or from home across Europe, US, UK and Japan, we serve thousands of global customers, including leading brands such as Uber, Bosch, Lufthansa, Supercell, Vistaprint and Zendesk.
As Demand Generation Manager you’ll drive our growth by strategically targeting specific prospects and existing customers and growing the APAC region. This is the first marketing position based in Japan and will be crucial to our goals in the region.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Developing our demand generation strategy for the APAC region
- Developing personalized account based marketing campaigns
- Partnering closely with the sales teams to ensure strong marketing and sales alignment throughout the pipeline
- Working closely with marketing operations to create an optimal lead routing flow
- Conceptualizing and controlling upsell campaigns and promoting new features
- Cooperating closely and critically challenging copywriters as well as designers to make sure that our ads are always appealing, well-performing and meeting our quality standards
- Managing our external advertising agency to continuously optimize existing campaigns as well as facilitating the process of bringing new campaigns live
What you need:
- Great B2B SaaS experience (or adjacent)
- An understanding of the needs of the largest companies in the world and the fastest growing brands, especially regarding international expansion
- Ability to wear many hats, thrive in ambiguity and turn chaos into outcomes and revenue\
- Great storytelling ability, customer-centricity and an action-oriented approach
- Ability to understand opportunities/B2B funnel dynamics
- Events or field marketing experience (B2B)
