We provide a leading translation management system (Memsource) and software localization platform (Phrase), supporting 500+ languages, 50+ file types and covering the full range of enterprise localization use cases. With a global team working from our offices or from home across Europe, US, UK and Japan, we serve thousands of global customers, including leading brands such as Uber, Bosch, Lufthansa, Supercell, Vistaprint and Zendesk.
As Website Product Owner, you’ll hold a pivotal role in the Marketing team, being responsible for managing all topics revolving around our website. This goes from continuously developing the website’s structure and content to ensuring that the website always meets the highest SEO, UX and design standards. Your role will also focus on managing the needs of the different stakeholders of the website (Marketing, Product, Sales, People) and the execution and prioritization of those swiftly.
Our ideal candidate is data driven, proactive and a clear communicator who can interpret data and behaviors into insights seamlessly. This person is self-motivated, self-driven, has strong organizational skills and feels comfortable working with international teams.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Lead the evolution of our website, further developing it as a critical touchpoint for the Marketing, Sales, Product and People teams
- Use data and research to find opportunities to grow organically and improve user experience
- Identify conversion gaps and collaborate with internal stakeholders to continuously drive higher traction in terms of traffic and conversions
- Build business cases, clearly stating the impact and value of the proposed initiatives
- Translate marketing initiatives into tasks and define goals, set priorities and prioritize their development in sprint cycles
- Oversee and coordinate on-site SEO updates across the website with the support of our Content & SEO Team Lead
- Assess new market opportunities and strategic areas of local growth within our audience, ensuring that all relevant pages are localized and create a great multilingual experience
- Manage and troubleshoot automated website localization processes
- Report and monitor on the results of new performed initiatives
- Work with web developers (in-house or external) to manage and expedite the implementation of website adjustments
What you need:
- 3+ years experience in website product management
- Proven track record of building highly converting websites
- Good knowledge of SEO best practices and tools (e.g Semrush)
- Good feel for website design, UX and UI
- Experience working with the Google tools (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console and Google Optimize) as well as with Wordpress and Unbounce
- Ability to analyze data and test hypothesis and sort through uncertain options
- Ability to collaborate under pressure on time-critical initiatives
- Experience juggling several initiatives and shift priorities as needed
- English fluency required
- Enthusiastic, creative and proactive attitude
