We provide a leading translation management system (Memsource) and software localization platform (Phrase), supporting 500+ languages, 50+ file types and covering the full range of enterprise localization use cases. With a global team working from our offices or from home across Europe, US, UK and Japan, we serve thousands of global customers, including leading brands such as Uber, Bosch, Lufthansa, Supercell, Vistaprint and Zendesk.
As Enterprise Account Executive APAC you will be responsible for the expansion of the enterprise segment and accompany our potential key customers in the APAC region from the first demo call to successful completion. The primary focus is on the Enterprise sector in Japan, but also other regions of APAC. You will work closely with our global business development and marketing team as well as the regional sales team. For this Japan-based position we are able to offer full employment (through our professional employer organization), while contracting remains an option.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Responsible for the full sales pipeline of customer acquisition
- Prospecting new business and sourcing pipeline through direct outreach and managing your own email cadence
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market, source net new logos, identifying key decision makers & building out Salesforce database
- Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
- Present our company to potential clients
- Develop growth strategies and plans
- Build relationships with key decision makers throughout the sales process
- Have in-depth knowledge of the business’s products and value proposition
- Respond to RFIs and tenders
- Prepare quotes and contracts
What you need:
- Have 2 years + experience in a similar role in a software business or a localisation business as a linguist, sales, or project manager
- Be based in Japan
- Be fluent in English and Japanese, other languages are a plus
- Experience in closing enterprise deals
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- A high affinity for technical products
- A solution-oriented and independent way of working
